Umko is award winning educational Android application that educates children in preschool age.

Umko won first prize on contest organized by  Agency for electronic communications(AEC) of the Republic of Macedonia.

This game is a great way for young kids to develop the necessary skills for preschool in a fun and memorable setting!

Bitsia launched another finished project – eTwinning.mk.
eTwinning is an EU initiative to encourage schools to network with each other over the internet. It is part of Comenius, the EU programme for schools, and the international eTwinning portal www.etwinning.net.

eTwinning is an action that supports online-based projects between at least two schools from at least two different European countries. Schools form a project and use Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to carry out their work. As schools communicate and collaborate via the Internet, there are no grants or administrative conditions connected to the scheme and face-to-face meetings are not required.

The training was held at the premises of Mechanical Engineering Faculty in Skopje were 17 members of EIICM attended. The consortium EIICM composed of the institutes: Sts. Cyril and Methodius, APPRM, MIR Foundation and Chamber of Commerce of Macedonia.

Among those attending were the project manager EIICM Assoc. Dr. Victor Stojmanovski, Nikola Tanevski, Mile Sosevski, Velimir J. Stojkovski and other members of the EIICM consortium.

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Web Site of National agency for European Education Programmes and Mobility.
National agency for European Education Programmes and Mobility is an public institution established by the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia.

The purpose of this agency is promoting mobility and enforcement of European educational programs in Macedonia. Users of this Web Site may be: students, teachers, professors, trainers and other staff involved in any part of the educational process, companies and other entities including trade associations, chambers of commerce and other associations of legal entities in the area industry, research institutes and bodies and citizens’s associations and foundations.

The Web Site represents a complex application with CMS features. The core of the application is driven by object oriented php on mysql database. Some of the features are news, calendar events and gallery witch every backend user have clean interface for editing it’s content.

After few weeks of hard work in this hot summer, we can finally go on vacation.

Macedonia now has one of the first e-stores after a long, long time – hello 21st century :)  The news traveled fast but not quietly as you may see in this article:

So I think we earned our bragging rights. It’s good to be first in something, especially in the IT business. And not a bad review from the newspaper “Vreme” at all. But for all of you that don’t know, here is a little info about the online store.

            First of all I didn’t mention the name: www.kupi.se, which means “buy.everything” and it is a place where you could buy a desired product which then will be delivered to your doorstep in a matter of hours/days (depending how far is your doorstep :) .  There are mainly computer products and electronic devices at the moment, but it is planned to include additional toy store department, which is a hush, hush for now. The payment as you may presume is mainly trough credit cards and online. And then you’ld say what is the difference with the other up and coming online stores in Macedonia. Well, ours is actually working ;)

            So it is time break to long lived phobia of online shopping that roams Macedonia. So go ahead break the ice, with our new page: www.kupi.se
